In the previous news bulletin, we already reported that Lector finished in the top five five times in his last five international starts. Last weekend, he simply continued that streak. At JPM International in Kessel, he finished third under Koen Vereecke in the 1.50m on Friday and seventh in the GP.

Koen also showed himself riding L’Esmeralda van ‘t Meulenhof (s. Nabab de Rêve), with whom he came second and third in two 1.45m classes. With Oilily de Muze (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) he won a 1.40m class.


Several competitions at the very highest level also produced great results last week. For example, Ashley Vogel won a 1.45m class in Vancouver on Bellissimo Z (s. Bamako de Muze). In the Nations Cup, the American team took bronze thanks to Lacey Gilbertson and Karlin van ‘t Vennehof (s. Fantomas de Muze), among others.

A Nations Cup was also contested in St Gallen, Switzerland. The Brazilian team finished second with Pedro Veniss and Nimrod de Muze Z (s. Nabab de Rêve) in their ranks.


At the CSI4* in Devon, Jessica Mendoza jumped to fifth place in the GP riding I-Cap CL Z (s. I’m Special de Muze). This combination also came third in a 1.50m class, just ahead of Hallie Grimes on Malissa de Muze (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles).


Sacha Beghuin and Elcup Van Beek II Z (s. Elvis Ter Putte) gained third place in a ranking class in Lier. In the 1.40m classes we noted placings for Christophe Vanderhasselt on Opportunity Vitseroel (s. Elvis Ter Putte), Bart Claes on Picco Bello v/h Panishof (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) and Max van de Poll on Infinety Z.G. (s. I’m Special de Muze).


Vroom de la Pomme Z (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) and Peder Fredricson finished fourth with the Swedish team in the Nations Cup of Drammen. In a 1.40m class, Hanna Cecilie Wicklund jumped to third place on Infinity HST (s. Denzel van ‘t Meulenhof).


At the Junior competition in Zuidwolde, the Belgian Young Riders team jumped to victory in the Nations Cup thanks to Tristan Guisson (Naturelle vh Legitahof Z, s. Nabab de Rêve) and Aurelia Guisson (No Limit vh Legita Hof Z, s. Nabab de Rêve) among others. In the Junior category, victory went to Great Britain with Noora Von Bülow and Interstar B (s. I’m Special de Muze) in their ranks. Louise Ameeuw and Nasty Boy de Muze (s. Bamako de Muze) achieved third place in a 1.40m class.


Petra Heikkinen and Oechie K (s. I’m Special de Muze) won a 1.45m class in Pärnu, Estonia. In the GP this duo finished fourth.


In Athens there was a fifth place for Camilla Bosio and Hervesther (s. Elvis Ter Putte) in a 1.45m class. Nadja Peter Steiner and Harry KM (s. Scendro) signed for fourth place over 1.40m in Cabourg. In the GP2* at Sancourt, Benjamin Hedin finished seventh with Funky Boy Des Rêves (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles). On his turn, Enno Klaphake finished sixth in the GP2* of Riesenbeck riding NC Verso Red Wine (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles). Kevin Gallagher piloted BP Limitless (s. Elvis Ter Putte) to place five in a 1.45m class at the CSI2* in Mullingar. Finally, at the youth competition in Zduchovice, Sofie Najmanova raced to victory on Nativio van het Leliehof (s. Bamako de Muze) in a 1.40m class.
