Cracking performances from our stallions Kasanova and Lector at the CSIO in Rome under Koen Vereecke. Lector won a class and finished third over 1.45m, notably his fifth five-star class in a row with a top five ranking. His half-brother Kasanova jumped zero and four in the Nations Cup and rushed to sixth place in the GP5*.
In the Nations Cup, Conquestador (s. Nabab de Rêve) was part of the Italian team that came second, ridden by Antonio Maria Garofalo.
Wiesbaden
At the CSI4* in Wiesbaden, Bernardo Alves and Vigo’s Flip de Muze (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) showed their top shape with a win and two second places at 1.40m-1.45m. Vigo’s Flip is the dam of our young stallion Toetankhamon de Muze. In one of the 1.40m-classes, they finished second behind Julien Anquetin and Gravity of Greenhill (s. Nabab de Rêve). In the 1.45m-class, we recorded a fifth place for Willem Greve and Pretty Woman van ‘t Paradijs (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles). Bingo del Tondou (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) and Pénélope Leprevost raced to third place in a 1.50m class with jump-off.
Vancouver-Langley
Lillie Keenan and Fasther (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) finished third in the Vancouver-Langley GP5*, part of the Major League of Showjumping. In the 1.40m there were wins for Alison Robitaille riding Jikke-Cara (s. Denzel van ‘t Meulenhof) and Ashley Vogel on Bellissimo Z (s. Bamako de Muze).
Opglabbeek
There was a third place for Gert-Jan Bruggink and Vigalio SHO Z (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) in the GP2* of Opglabbeek. Pascale Haep finished second in a 1.40m class riding Iashin Sitte (s. Bamako de Muze).
Drammen
The GP1* in Drammen, Norway, yielded fifth place for Johan Sebastian Gulliksen and the only 7-year-old Lolita ES (s. Mosito van het Hellehof). Pal Flam and Number One (s. Nabab de Rêve) grabbed third place in a 1.40m class.
Other
At the youth show in Prague, Viktor Skutecky won a 1.40m class on Nena Chanti Z (s. Nabab de Rêve). In the GP for juniors, the duo finished fourth. In a 1.40m class at the CSIO3* in Uggerhalne, Eric ten Cate jumped to place four with Horsedeals Nada van Spieveld (s. Elvis Ter Putte).
